JoAnn Falletta (born February 27, 1954, in Queens, New York) is an American conductor best known for her association with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, where she served as their music director since 1999. She was also closely associated with the Virginia Symphony and Long Beach Symphony orchestras.
