Leonardo García-Alarcón (born 1976, La Plata, Argentina) Leonardo García-Alarcón is an Argentine–Swiss conductor, harpsichordist, and musical director, internationally recognised as one of the most imaginative and influential interpreters of Baroque and early Classical music of the early 21st century. Born in La Plata in 1976, he studied piano in Argentina before moving to Europe, where he continued his training in Geneva, studying harpsichord with Christiane Jaccottet.
