Rising from the ashes of Pioneer Disaster, these guys built a reputation on their out of control live show (Gary fondly recalls the night he "broke" a stage..). .After touring all over the place, often with pals Mercy Rule, and releasing several 45's, the band recorded the "Speed! Nebraska" album, and forever changed the rules of what a rootsy punk rock band could be. Somewhere in between a warp-speed Uncle Tupelo and a pissed of Johnny Cash, these guys struck a resounding chord in the music scene of the early 90's.
