About Midnight Call
The band started around 1991, when three of us got together informally to make some noise. Jeff Udell (keyboards) was the only person trained on his instrument. Jeff Johnson (guitar) and myself (guitar, programming, vocals) had literally just started playing guitars. So the real excitement came when we could just mess around and, yet, people in the area started to show interest. It was flattering. Of course, there was no real scene for our style of music in Boston.
