Qiu Hong 秋紅 (see also 秋紅) is a metal/hard rock band from Hong Kong and it is formed in May 2002. The band name is inspired by a title of a book; "QIU"( 秋 ) is "autumn" in Chinese, the season full of emotions and thoughts. "HONG"( 紅 ), "red" in Chinese, represents the hot blood, and also the color of the fire, warm and bright. Qiu Hong is also the winner of the World Battle of Bands music competition 2005.
