Formed in Los Angeles in 2002, originally under the name The Duration. Severe Severe consists of Nico Jordan (guitar, synth, loops, voice, percussion) & Mike Capritta (bass, synth) Influenced by a wide range of artists including Sonic Youth, Big Black, Can, Savage Republic and Joy Division, Severe Severe employs rhythms that sometimes require acclimation by the listener, but they reward the effort with a surprising consistency and quality over the length of a song.
