About Vince Tampio
Vince Tampio is a multifaceted musician primarily working as performer and composer/arranger in the Hudson Valley Region and Capital District of New York State. Vince grew up in Silver Creek, New York; a small coastal village off Lake Erie. He began studying trumpet (gifted to Vince by a family friend) in Elementary School at Silver Creek Central. Vince was initially trained through use of classical method books: Rubank, Arbans, etc... which provided a solid foundation as well as technical approach to musical execution on trumpet.
