At an early age, DJ Ease (Angelo Simpson) was moved by Hiphop culture. At age 17, he began making scratch tapes and circulating them in Rush Henrietta high school in Rochester, New York. These tapes garnered him local recognition as one of Rochester’s premiere up and coming musical talents. This buzz and recognition grew exponentially when he began not only competing in, but dominating the DJ battle scene. The two-time Ultimate Breakdown battle champion would later move to NYC
